Worship means expressing your love, respect and thanks to God. Though the way in which it is expressed can be different for each person, it ultimately connects our hearts and minds to God. However, finding and maintaining a church home can be hard for a college student. GRIP invites you to engage in nontraditional worship every Sunday at 12:12 p.m. in the HUB Delaware Room during the semester. Not only do we try to fill your ‘spiritual stomach’, but your physical one, too! Volunteers provide us with snacks weekly and a home-cooked lunch once a month.
Nontraditional worship can also mean many things. 12:12’s service is traditional in that God’s Word is taught in a way to understand His truth and how it applies to our lives. Messages address relevant topics and the service can be anything from fully interactive to silent and reflective. Each service aims to create a space that will help guide you to connect with God and your peers in new and significant ways.
GRIP needs you! Are you an organized planner, an artistic type or musically inclined? Do you enjoy talking to people, have computer skills or an eye for design? If you answered yes to any of those questions or if you just want to lend a hand, we ask you to join us in one of the many service opportunities that keeps 12:12 up and running. This is your service — use your gifts to shape it!
